Pricing

The Fun Family Dance really does encourage participation by families! Dancers of all ages are welcome. A fun group of teens attends nearly all the dances. We find that most children develop the ability to contra dance between 10 and 12 years of age, but there are certainly good dancers who started younger.

All of our dance prices include membership in Fun Family Dance! for just that dance. Our prices are set to encourage families to participate. Where else can you have this much fun for so little money?

Prices below are for regular dances. Special dances such as the New Years Eve Dance are higher.

Members receive a 20% discount on dance admission.

Adults $10

Youth (16–25) $5

Dancers 16 to 17 do not need to be accompanied by an adult, however, responsible adult behavior is expected of all our youth dancers.

Children & Young Teens (0–15) $1

Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by their family or responsible adult, whether they dance or not. Non-dancing children are welcome if they are well behaved and stay safely to the edges of the dance floor; bring something for them to read and/or play with, as the museum displays are closed during our dances.

Families $25

This price is available to families, no matter how many members in the immediate family and no matter what the ages.

New Contra Dancer Discount

People who have never contra danced before can attend their first dance for free.
